Ever wanted to try burlesque? Whether you're looking to build confidence, meet new people, explore your creative side or simply enjoy an hour each week dedicated entirely to you, this welcoming five-week course is the perfect place to begin.
Designed especially for complete beginners, each class explores a different style of burlesque through fun choreography, classic techniques, confidence-building exercises and a little of the fascinating history behind this unique art form. No dance experience is required.

Never! Our adult burlesque classes welcome beginners aged 18 and over — with no upper limit. Burlesque celebrates all ages and experiences.
How do I get to the studio?
The course runs at Liverpool Dance Centre, Studio 2, 22 Hope Street, in Liverpool city centre (L1) — an easy walk from Lime Street Station, with city centre parking nearby.
Do I need to be confident or sexy?
Not at all! Burlesque builds confidence. Classes help you find your sass gradually—perfect for Liverpool beginners.
When does the next beginners course start?
